Angela22 days agoOverall a smashing success! We stayed at this property to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday with family coming from NY and FL. It was the perfect setting! While it was a little difficult to find and driving instructions would have been helpful in advance, Melissa was quickly responsive and helpful so it was only a minor setback to get there. Plenty of space for all, very comfortable, modern amenities and hands down the wrap around porch was everyone’s favorite spot to hang out and spend time together. As someone aspiring to have his own Airbnb properties someday, she’s my blueprint. My family loved it. Plenty of space. Great recommendation. BEAUTIFUL property. Donna Miller88 days agoOur entire family wants to take this opportunity to extremely highly recommend Life’s Good Retreat. We hosted our daughter’s wedding reception here and it turned out absolutely amazing. The large wrap around porch accommodated 40 ish people comfortably. 8 fire pits and patio settings. The grounds and house are immaculate. The owners were just two of the kindest people you’d ever meet and accommodating to their guest. The showers in the master bathrooms were a conversation to everyone who used the restrooms. Theres access to laundry in the basement and came in handy for all guest who stayed multiple days. So many beautiful places in that area. The grounds and other houses would be wonderful for family vacations. Those houses are just as gorgeous as the main one. To have family comfortable in the surrounding houses meant the world to all. The windows in the front of the main house was beautiful with natural light. The main houses kitchen with the bar countertop allowed guest to have a wonderful place to talk and congregate. Whether it’s a church function, a business function, locally or other this place Is for you. I cannot speak enough about this place. If you are hosting a smaller wedding this is the place. It’s insane the prices people pay for wedding venues and this place can be rented out with all houses if you chose to and have a private setting that’s perfect for weddings. This place is beyond affordable and you could rent for the week or a few days the same price as a wedding venue. The white squirrels are a bonus. I cannot say enough about the owners and their kindness and accomodations to our family. Thank you!+12Posted on Google

It worked out great to fit all of our family in one location so after our wedding at the pretty place chapel we had somewhere for everyone to go. We stayed across the street from Seven Maples for a family wedding and it could not have been a more perfect location for extended family to hangout in between festivities. It was the little things for me--a sewing kit in the bathroom with that emergency safety pin I needed for my dress, the water kettle for boiling water for tea (everyone does not drink coffee), grooming kits with toothbrush and comb if I had needed those, and even throw blankets on the chairs out on the spacious wrap-around porch. I definitely recommend this home for anyone with a family wedding at Seven Maples or anyone needing a larger space for a big family gathering.Posted on Google

Not only was it a beautiful property, but it was also conveniently located near all the trails, waterfalls, and the charming downtown area. The host, Melissa, was amazing. The wrap around porch was perfect for the family get-together. The kitchens are large and well stocked with new appliances. The design and modern décor are delightful and inviting. The listing matched the photos perfectly and met every need for our Thanksgiving gathering. The main house and the cottages were stocked with everything we needed and then some, which made the trip smooth for our whole group. The showers were a big hit, and the fire pit tables were the perfect touch on the cold nights. Kathy P.784 days ago80th Birthday Celebration This was an amazing experience from the very first interaction. Houses and property are beautiful. We had 16 adults There is plenty of space to get away for alone time and great space for large group to be together. We spent all of our time on the large spacious wrap around porch. The local coffee left for use was wonderful. Owner left beautiful flowers and a sweet note for my mother in laws 80th bday. Highly recommend for large or small group. We can not wait to rent again soon. House is spotless.
